On the same floor as our rooftop Sky Forest Garden, it is most convenient for strolling onto our "hermitage within the city" for breathtaking panorama of Kamo RIver and the Higashiyama mountains beyond.

On the wall is a painting by Kyoto artist inspired by the Tale of Genji. A vintage tansu chest provides added storage space.

This suite has ample storage space and is decorated with a painting inspired by the Tale of Genji, and a ceramic sculpture by a Kyoto artist. 1-2 futons can be added to the tatami area for extra persons.

From vintage lamps and decorative windows to tokonoma alcoves and the "Floating World" Zen garden, the ambience is old-world and serene. Yet one can find the luxury of a King bed, sofa lounges, table dining by an open kitchen, and a skylight study.
