How to get to Genji Kyoto from Kansai Airport or elsewhere
From Kansai Airport
Take JR Limited Express Train Haruka to Kyoto Station (about 80 minutes).
You can enter your data and destination as Kyoto Station Building on this page: https://www.kansai-airport.or.jp/en/access/train Please be sure to choose the Limited Express Train Haruka. For those who are familiar with using Google Maps, you can also use the Directions function to see train schedules real time.
From Kyoto Station
By taxi about 7 minutes depending on traffic (see Map for taxi driver above).
The station is about 16 minutes walk to the hotel. Buses 4, 17, 205 are in front of Kyoto Station. If you take one of them, the 3rd stop, Kawaramachi Shōmen, will be the one closest to Genji Kyoto. From there it is about 5 minutes walk to the hotel.
From Osaka or elsewhere by Keihan Railway
There are 2 stations with equal distance to Genji Kyoto. Walk north for 6 minutes from Shichijō Station (exit 5) or walk south for 6 minutes from Kiyomizu-Gojō Station (exit 11).
From other parts of Kyoto by Subway
Walk 11 minutes from Gojō Station (exit 5) of Karasuma Line.
From other parts of Kyoto by Bus
Walk from Kawaramachi Shōmen stop of bus routes 4, 17 or 205; or walk from Kawaramachi Gojō stop or Gojō Keihan stop of bus route 80.
